Mission

Why We Exist

Our mission is to educate, empower, and mobilize millions to pray on behalf of the poor and suffering.

“All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do”. Galatians 2:10 NKJV

What We Do

In order to accomplish our mission, we are committed to:

  • Producing Christ-centered, Biblically-based resources that inspire and mobilize people to pray for the poor and suffering.
  • Providing opportunities that integrate acts of compassion with prayer for the needy.
  • Building a network that includes various prayer movements, compassion ministries, mission organizations, campus and youth ministries, denominations, local churches, businesses, and individuals united in prayer for those in poverty.

  • Tennessee District Assemblies of God

The Tennessee District Assemblies of God is a cooperative fellowship of Pentecostal, Spirit-baptized saints from local Pentecostal Assemblies of like precious faith in the Tennessee District of the General Council of the Assemblies of God. We believe that God’s purpose concerning man finds fulfillment in a 3-fold priority reason-for-being of: 1) To be an agency of God for evangelizing the world, 2) To be a corporate body in which man may worship God, and 3) To be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son. We exist expressly to give continuing emphasis to this reason-for-being in the New Testament apostolic pattern by teaching and encouraging believers to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, which enables them to evangelize in the power of the Spirit with accompanying supernatural signs, adding a necessary dimension to a worshipful relationship with God, and enabling them to respond to the full working of the Holy Spirit in expression of fruit and gifts and ministries as in New Testament times for the edifying of the body of Christ.

  • The Global Prayer & Fasting Network 365

God moves through our prayer and fasting enabling the spiritual realm to move the physical wherever it needs to go. Our mission is to unify the Body of Christ in prayer and to bring the things of Heaven to Earth for the Glory of God through an unbroken prayer and fasting chain. The Global Prayer & Fasting Network 365 is an unbroken prayer and fasting chain with an ever-increasing army of Christians from all corners of the globe uniting a Prayer Army, 24/7 - 365 days a year!

Founded in 2005 by Dr. Saeed Hosseini, it connects intercessors all over the globe for specific points. This growing army of thousands of intercessors have set aside one day per week to fast and pray, both for their own needs and the needs of others. They have committed one day per week, praying for the prayer team the day before and for the team the day after their prayer day.

Endorsements

Pray for Hope will be used by God to focus fervent prayer for the many millions of poor around the world. I praise God for their desire to see Christians everywhere intercede at the throne of grace for those living without the basic necessities of life. God will never forget to bless the person and church who remembers the poor in their prayers.
