We pray that you create opportunities for those in poverty to develop skills and find solid vocation that pays a fair wage. We ask that they will give You glory as they receive the gift of employment. In Jesus’ name.”

Heavenly Father,
As we remember the poor in prayer, please help us to be poor in spirit. Your Word says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs in the kingdom of heaven”. Grant us the grace to release our temporal riches to assist the poor and suffering. Help us embrace the eternal riches of loving God and one another.
